Why I Took My Shirt Listings Down (Most of Them, Anyway)

If you've looked at my print-on-demand shops, you may have noticed that most of the shirt options are unavailable. Why is that? Well...most of my designs include my KTCW logo and I had lowered the opacity of this layer to make it more transparent. This was done because I wanted to make it less distracting to the rest of the design, but I didn't consider how that would transfer to a shirt...😬 Here's how Teepublic printed my "You Can Be Seal-ious" Sad Seal  design to a shirt. (The color was altered a bit to reduce glare.  I'll  provide a better screen-to-print comparison in the future) A lot of it looks pretty good. But when you takes a closer at the logo... It's completely blurry and unreadable. 😭 It's supposed to look a little more like this: I want to let people know who made these designs but I can't sell any clothing with the logo looking like that! There's no point. I'm going to have to go back to the original files and figure out...

But after introducing artist account tiers in May of 2023, it has greatly fallen out of favor with creatives, causing those who once enjoyed the platform, to search for other print-on-demand sites that work similarly, or better, to how RB used to.
